 Matthew 6: 5 - 8

First, the simple
What prayer is
Whom prayer addresses
Praying through Christ
Special Occasions

 

Second, the sublime
Sin follows us everywhere, even into the presence of God
Sin is also a state of mind, not simply our actions
Prayer must not be an overconcern with myself or prayer's length
Praying in secret
Shut out and forget others and myself
